Eyes wide Shut

I recently came across a captivating painting that left me pondering its meaning and the artist behind it.

The painting in question is an androgynous figure, painted with raw emotional bold brush strokes of blues and mauves, with a hauntingly ambiguous expression.

The piece was created by an artist named Luisa Manea, who hails from the Great Barrier Reef city of Cairns, Australia.

As I gazed upon the painting, I found myself questioning the gender of the subject. The ambiguity of the figure's features only added to the mystery and allure of the piece. It was thought-provoking and captivating, leaving me with wonder and intrigue.

It served as a reminder of the power of art to evoke emotion and spark meaningful dialogue.

I couldn't help but wonder about the artist herself. What inspired her to create such a piece? Was it simply an artistic expression of the fluidity of gender and identity? These questions only added to my fascination with the painting and the artist behind it.

After some research, I discovered that the painting was for sale. I couldn't help but imagine the piece hanging on my wall, inviting conversation and introspection from all who viewed it.

The above-written piece is from an invited collector and guest writer.

Once upon a time, there was a person who possessed a unique combination of features that left everyone in awe. Their strong jawline was chiselled and refined as the statue of 'David' by Micheal Angelo.

Yet, their soft dewy lips were as delicate as flower petals belonging to Venus in the Botticelli painting 'Birth of Venus'.

Their long, luscious hair flowed like a river of ink, contrasting with their muscular frame.

People couldn't help but admire this person's rare combination of features. They were a sight to behold, and their charm was irresistible. People would stare in wonder, trying to understand how such contrasting elements could coexist in one person.

Their strong jawline symbolised their determination and steadfastness in life, while their soft transparent lips represented their empathy and kindness towards others. Their long, lush hair conveyed their free-spiritedness and sense of adventure, while other features reflected their physical strength and resilience.

This person's unique combination of features reminded us that we are all complex individuals with many facets to our personalities. To be beautiful or successful, we don't have to fit into a cookie-cutter mould.

Our differences make us stand out and bring value to the world.

Ultimately, this person's unique features were a blessing, not a curse. They are a testament to the beauty of diversity and the power of individuality.

I called this artwork 'Eye's Wide Shut' as we see people like this but sometimes failed to recognise how strikingly captivating they are.
