Please send a few clear reference photographs that you have permission to use, including permission from the photographer. Each drawing is created individually; no proof or approval stage is provided before dispatch.

PHOTOGRAPHS AND PERMISSION
Mail clear, full-length photographs to
Lmanea@iinet.net.au,
with close-ups of your hat, jewellery, shoes and handbag.
You must own copyright in the photographs or have written permission from the copyright owner for the agreed uses. Appearing in a photograph or buying a copy does not necessarily give you that permission.
Please tell me who supplied the photographs and disclose any restrictions before ordering.
I may ask to see permission confirmation.
Permission to create a private illustration may not include promotional use or print sales.
We will check the necessary permissions and any required subject consents before those uses.
If you are unsure, please ask before purchasing.
 
CREATION AND DELIVERY
Please allow approximately one to two weeks for creation after the agreement, payment and photographs are confirmed, plus up to 14 days for delivery within Australia after dispatch.
Busy-period timing will be discussed with you.
If you need the artwork by a particular date, contact me before ordering.
Your unframed illustration will be carefully packed in a protective tube or sturdy box.
Delivery charges and arrangements will be confirmed before payment.
 
COPYRIGHT AND PERMITTED USE
As an agreed condition of this commission, you expressly agree that Luisa Manea owns copyright in the artwork from creation, including any commissioned portrait. Copyright is not transferred with your purchase.
You are buying the physical original to display, enjoy or give as a gift.
No reproduction licence is included.
Without my prior written permission, you may not copy or use the image on invitations, business cards, greeting cards, logos, promotional material, merchandise, additional prints or digital content, or ask someone else to do so.
This applies to personal and business use, including free copies. Crediting the artist does not replace permission. Uses permitted by law are unaffected.
 
PORTFOLIO AND PRINT SALES
Under the commission agreement, you agree that I may display the finished artwork in my portfolio, website, social media and promotional material, and make and sell prints, subject to the necessary photograph permissions and subject consents. Your purchase is for the original artwork, rather than exclusive use of its image.
If you would prefer a private commission, please discuss this before ordering. Any agreed restriction will be recorded in writing and will not transfer copyright to you.
 
BEFORE I BEGIN
We will confirm your commission in a short written agreement covering the artwork, total price, timing, photo permissions and copyright. Please review and accept the terms before payment. Work begins once the agreement, payment and suitable reference photographs are in place.
Checking permissions protects everyone involved. Unauthorised copying can lead to removal requests, compensation claims or legal costs.
Please contact me if anything is unclear - I want you to feel comfortable and informed about your commission.
 
I have read and agree to the commission terms.
