Original one-of-a-kind sculpture  
Shima has been bisque-fired and glaze-fired. The powder blue glaze has only been applied to the headdress and costume trims, as I wanted to preserve the beautiful colour of the base clay.
Being fired twice makes Shima quite strong, and the glaze is permanent.  
Shima has been selected for major ceramics awards at the Cairns Gallery in 2024.  
Each sculpture is unique and entirely original.
