This painting initially started as an abstract piece, but as I studied the brush strokes, I began to see the silhouette of a gown and a woman. It reminded me of "The Age of Innocence," a film where women don their finest gowns for the opera, showcasing feathers, lace, and opulence that were never quite enough.
 
This original acrylic painting, created by Luisa Manea, is framed in light, natural timber and ready to hang. It features multiple layers of golden acrylic paint and comes with a certificate of authenticity. In 2022, the artwork received a high commendation at the Cairns 74th Annual Art Awards.
