SOLD SOLD SOLD, sometimes they go as soon as you paint them; other times, they take a year or two to meet their owner...

Some I miss them, but that's the life of an artist. To continue to paint paintings, you need to sell paintings too. They also must be displayed in competitions and galleries; they often make it to the finals, are the favourite top 10, and win awards at exhibitions. And most of all, I love seeing them hanging on a wall in someone's home.

Different periods of my work stand out and evolve, and I remember the faces of the buyers and how happy a painting can make someone.

Textile art wins awards, but no one collects textiles. It seems too new as an art form for buyers just yet; the curators love fibre art for gallery walls.
